Charlotte County Sheriff's deputies arrested three convicted felons with a combined total of 48 bookings and 105 records, for allegedly stealing $545 in shoes from Kohl’s Wednesday in Port Charlotte. They continued to a red Ford Taurus and security observed Landis jerk the baby from his stroller causing him to cry, and then toss him through the driver side window where there was no one to catch him. The security officer yelled at Landis to stop hurting the child. At that time Shartle got out of the rear of the car and threw a pair of shoes striking security in the head.
All three then got into the car and sped out of the parking lot and a BOLO was issued. Moments later, deputies located the vehicle and all three at 21131 Meehan Avenue.
