JOHNNY WAS Signs Two Leases in Northern California

Scott Lifschultz, founder and president of SPL Realty Partners announces two new lease signings in Northern California on behalf of its client JOHNNY WAS. Both Valley Fair and Stanford Shopping Center are slated to open this year.

SPL Realty Partners acts as JOHNNY WAS’ national real estate broker and represented the upscale, bohemian chic retailer on both of these transactions, as well as the three existing locations at Santa Monica Place, The Grove in West Hollywood and Fashion Island in Newport Beach.

The first Northern California store will be located at Westfield Valley Fair in San Jose, CA. Valley Fair is one of Westfield’s top-performing malls in its US portfolio and is the dominant regional enclosed mall in San Jose.
Possession of the 1,200 square foot retail space, currently occupied by Janie & Jack, is scheduled for July 1, with store opening slated for late summer/early fall 2012. The space boasts over 22 feet of frontage and is among retailers including Apple, True Religion, Stuart Weitzman, Kiehl’s & MAC Cosmetics. Anchors and other luxury retailers include Macy’s, Nordstrom, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Cartier, Ferragamo, Burberry, Tiffany & Co, and Louis Vuitton.
